Wooden Rugby ”Ball” Park / 木造ラグビー”ボール”パーク

This proposal was imagined as an architectural project, and an indoor stadium was designed, in the from of a rugby ball. There are no roofed rugby stadiums in the word; players play in the rain, they get muddy, and muddy conditions are bad for the grass. In response, a timber structure which uses the geometric form to unite the shape of the ball with a more rational structural design.

建築家らしい提案をしたいと思い、ラグビーボールの形をした屋内競技場の設計をした。世界中見渡しても屋根付きのラグビー競技場はなく、雨でも試合をする。選手は泥だらけになるし、ぬかるんだ状態は芝にもよくない。そこで幾何学的にはボールの形と構造の合理性を一体化した木構造にした。
